Kyle & Odi Eckhart

Pastor Kyle Eckhart has been serving as the pastor of Calvary Szeged since spring 2000. God brought Kyle to Hungary when he was approached by Calvary Chapel Vista in 1994 with an opportunity to come to minister in Hungary for one year. Kyle thought this would be a great opportunity and he moved to Baja in February 1995. God's plan for Kyle was that he stay for more than just 1 year. While ministering in Baja, Kyle met his future wife, Odi. After serving in Baja for 4 years, God gave Kyle the opportunity to move to Szeged to help as an assistant in the new leadership of the church. Kyle became the pastor in April 2000. Pastor Kyle & Odi have been married since 1999.

Odi grew up in Tompa, Hungary (which is between Baja & Szeged) and got saved at age 12 when her whole family gave their lives to the Lord at Calvary Chapel Baja. Kyle and Odi met at Calvary Chapel Baja and in July of 1999 they got married. Odi is very involved in the ministry at Calvary Chapel Szeged. She teaches the Women's Fellowship and sings on the worship team. Odi teaches English full time at a private language school in Szeged.
